Although you are to start off with a certain amount of spells you are allowed to continue training to learn more spells. To do this there is a 1000 word requirement to learn a spell. You are allowed to train with friends or allies. Doing so divides the word requirement cost by the number of people training it. The maxium people allowed to train however is 4.
On this site you are also allowed to create custom spells. Since these spells are original they are harder to learn for the custom creator thus making the word requirement to learn a custom spell, 1500. However once the spells creator has learned it other can for the normal cost from THE CREATOR.
