Drink Troubles Away...

"He did what he did out of fear of being killed...Most people are irrational about death when its around", he said notcing she was getting angry. Drake truely didnt want her to be angry so he changed the topic slightly...

"I dont know howd Id feel if death stared me at the face", he said

She stopped and turned to him .

" I am someone who has to live with memories from HIS past" she hissed almost in a snake way. " I rarely sleep for that reason, I see the deaths"

Drake lokked at her and hugged her as he whispered in her ears...
"They take your mind out of the dark...You hold on to the past and it will hurt and could destroy you...let go of the dark memories...", he whispered to her.

She tensed as he touched her.

' He is filthy , how dare he touch you , he's beneath you' her mind said in disgust.

She shook her head at her families thoughts and relaxed in his embrace.

Drake held on to his friend, one of the only ones he considered a true friend at Hogwarts.
"Close your eyes...Think of the pain on last time...and then cast them away", he said softly.

She rolled her eyes and did as he asked relaxing her mind.

" Fine" she whispered

Drake continued to hodl her and he narrowed his eyes..
"Promise me you arent being sarcasitc or using any Malfoy charm...Dont think of the past Malfoys or anything they did...Think about you carrying on your family name..and what honor you'll bring", he said

She sighed and her eyes shut automatically taking deep breaths.


" Okay, I am trying"

Drake let go of her...It was up to her now..to live in the past or look for the future..
*Wonder if she can do it*, he wondered.

She sighed and nodded opening her eyes.

" I will try"

"Thanks", he said with a smile as he began to walk back again to Hogwarts.

She followed him wordlessly and sighed.

" I know I am not capable of darkness" she whispered " I don't want to be like him"

"I know you arent capable of darkness", he said as he walked.
"Everyone has some good and bad traits...Every rose has his thorns", he said softly.

She nodded and nudged him.

" What a sweet comment, a rose you say?" she said smirking " But, though dark blood, flows through me, I won't let it controlled"

"Yeah a rose", he said with a smile slightly nugding her back.
"Its only dark blood if you look at it that way", he said

She nodded and shrugged. She walked and shivered at the cold. She took out her wand and created a warming spell around both of them.

Drake didnt feel cold at all...He looked at her and he took of his shirt and offered it to her.
"You need it for than I do", he said with a smile

She felt her cheeks redden.

" No thank you I am fine"

"You sure? You are shivering after all", he said looking at her slightly confused

She nodded.

" I am perfectly fine , Malfoys are good"

"Is there anything that a Malfoy isnt?", he said teasingly as he threw his shirt over his shoulders.

She smiled brightly.

" We are not stupid" she said " We are not naive"

"Of course", he said with a smile as he walked on.

She rolled her eyes amused and kept walking.

" We are not impulsive, nor really friendly"

"I think I caught that one on my own", he said with a smile as he remembered when he 1st met her on the train.
